Song Lyric's in Scrap Pages!!

I just love doing scrap pages using song lyric's as a base for them!  I really don't know why I don't do it more often!  You kind of have the song playing in your head as you're scrapping and it makes it all the more fun to create! ....I took this photo of Chloe, my 14 year old daughter with a few of her good friends.  I love how much fun they have together, it doesn't matter where they are or what the weather is like, they always have a good time together (yep, that's mud on Chloe's knee's from rough-housing with the boys! lol!)  When I look at this photo it makes me think of the song lyrics from the song 'Good Time' by Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen ....
"We don't even have to try...
It's always a good time"
Here's a link to the song on Youtube if you're not familiar with it.... "GOOD TIME"
Of course I just had to use the NEW Best Friends collection from Websters Pages to make up this page!  This time I went with the blue's and turquoise colours in the collection since I was scrapping boys in the photo as well.....but, heehee, it didn't stop me from adding blooms to the page :)
For this corner design I combined the lovely scroll chipboard from Dusty Attic with a cameo (Perfect Accents) piece from Websters Pages Best Friend collection. (the corner stamp is an older stamp from Websters Pages & Unity Stamps.
This is something that I've used before on my pages, is a zipper that I cut out from an old pair of jeans (after going through two girls, the jeans were pretty much done anyway:)  ....I used some of the beautiful lace trims that coordinate with the Best Friends collection around the zipper design.
I made the blooms decorating this corner from the patterned paper from this collection using the Spellbinders 'Rose Creations' die cuts and some flower stamens that I found at my local fabric store.
Here's a close-up look at the pretty new blooms from Websters Pages called Princess Petals....I'm loving that wide turquoise lace trim that goes with the BF collection as well!

I though I would use up some of the left over scraps from the last two pages I made with the Best Friends Collection so I made up this tag...
I did a little inking and stamping to make up this page....yep, I can't get enough of stamping lately! :)
.....so tell me.....what song do you want to scrap in the near future?  I love to hear what songs move and inspire people!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog ! I can hardly believe it!!! I was so thrilled when i read your name!

Of course I have some of my ugliest work ever on my blog right now as I can't bend to get at things since my back surgery Oct 1. I am hanging my head in shame.

MY goal in 2013 is to try all the new and ingenious ideas I see on your blog and on pinterest and create a style of my own.
I do scrapbook but can't share my pages on my blog as my family are intensely private.
I do scrapbook shabby chic but certainly not as well as you. A very amateur version of shabby chic!

This is a lovely layout...I think your daughter looks a lot like you. so much fun to see you signature elements...
Looks great and thanks again for the kind words.

When I saw this lay-out on the Webster's Pages blog, it took me some time before I managed to get away from the computer;) I just couldn't stop looking at your gorgeous page! Your use of colours, the soft and fabulous details and the newspaper/bookpage details are all so beautiful! Totally love your tag too!

another gorgeous layout with beautiful colors and amazing techniques. I love the zipper idea, tearing apart the lace and the cameo on top of the element. Attractive new Webster's designs, a real musthave!
